Repeated opening and closing of the fuse box over the last 3 to 4 decades will take its toll on the cloth insulated wiring harness!

Applicable to Early Spur & Derived models
Early fuel injected Spur, Spirit & Bentley equivalent cars suffered from overheating of the fuel pump fuse which normally results in a melted fuseboard and loss of power to the fuel pump. Though most cars have had this problem delt with, some cars have escaped the fix and once in a while we see one. The fix is a simple one as the fuel fuel pump fuse is simply bipassed from the board and mounted separately.
